PVCO Production Shift Supervisor, Pipe & Fittings - Wichita Falls, TX

About the role

The PVCO Production Shift Supervisor at our Wichita Falls, TX is responsible for leading daily production operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of PVCO pipe. This role provides direct supervision of production personnel, drives operational performance, and ensures adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and output objectives
• Lead and reinforce compliance with Westlake Pipe & Fittings safety policies and procedures
• Conduct shift meetings, safety training, inspections, incident investigations, and follow-up actions
• Drive root cause problem solving using 5-Why methodology and structured improvement tools
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and enforce plant cleanliness policies
• Participate in supervisor and operational meetings as required

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is required
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment are preferred
• Experience in PVC/PVCO extrusion operations is preferred
• 1–2 years of leadership or team supervision experience are preferred
• A strong understanding of production processes, workflow coordination, and operational performance are required
• A working knowledge of safety procedures and manufacturing best practices are required
• Familiarity with SAP, SPC, or production reporting systems is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
• Effective communication and team leadership capability are required

Physical Demands

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and communication. The employee may be required to use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The position involves regular light lifting and occasional moderate lifting consistent with a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

This position operates within a manufacturing plant environment. Employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, varying temperatures, elevated noise levels, and airborne particles. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
