Power Plant Shift Supervisor

About the role

Join a dynamic team at our leading power generation facility. As a Power Plant Shift Supervisor (Generation System Dispatcher), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control plant operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and production targets.
• Manage shift schedules and coordinate with other departments to optimize resource allocation.
• Oversee maintenance activities to prevent downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers and operators to troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly.
• Prepare and present reports on plant performance and maintenance activities to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in power plant operations or similar roles.
• Proficient in using SCADA systems and other relevant software tools.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• First aid and CPR certification.

• Technical knowledge of power generation systems.
