About the role

Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking a Puridiom Java Developer (Associate or Mid-level IT Programmer Analyst) to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site (SRS). This position may be eligible for telework in accordance with the SRMC Telework Policy; see Additional Information in the Minimum Requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develops flow charts and diagrams outlining process steps in operation;
  • Develops and revises program code;
  • Prepares documentation of program development, modifications to code and operating instructions;
  • Counsels in research, design, development, and/or modification of systems and/or applications software;
  • Assists in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards;
  • Evaluates interface(s) between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall systems;
  • Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections;
  • Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems;
  • Builds add-on modules using application program language;
  • Maintains up-to-date patches and upgrades for existing systems;
  • Acts as a technical contact for projects and technical matters that need to be communicated to other departments and external personnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; or
  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or related degree with relevant experience; or
  • High school diploma/GED with relevant experience.

Additional information

Candidate(s) selected to receive an offer will be offered the position level commensurate with their experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for up to 100% full time telework in accordance with the SRMC Telework Policy. All teleworking arrangements must be approved at the discretion of Management on a case-by-case basis based on a number of factors, including - without limitation - business need, the nature of the job, employee experience, and management preference.

Pay

USD $56,000.00/Yr. USD $124,000.00/Yr. Exceptions to this range/rate may be applied on a case-by-case basis taking into account aspects such as education, experience, and skill need of the organization.
