Source and purchase materials, equipment, and parts needed for service and installation jobsWork closely with field technicians and internal departments to create and manage purchase ordersRespond to phone calls and material requests from technicians in the fieldConduct price comparisons and vendor analysis to secure the best value and pricingCoordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materialsTrack and monitor incoming shipments and resolve delivery issues when necessaryMaintain accurate purchasing records and documentationBuild and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliersEnsure inventory and purchasing needs are met to support daily operations Do I have What it Takes? Previous purchasing or procurement experience requiredExperience in the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or related trades is a plusStrong computer and data entry skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
