About the role

The Purchasing Specialist - Machine Build is responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and components required for machine build operations. This role works closely with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of parts while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials and components from suppliers
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply and quality
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop purchase orders and manage inventory levels
• Monitor supplier performance and make recommendations for improvement
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations regarding procurement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing or supply chain management experience
• Experience with procurement software and systems
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
