Purchasing Specialist

About the role

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of essential products and services. By coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers, you’ll help drive value through smart sourcing, reliable supply chains, and consistent quality—all while supporting smooth operations and reducing waste. The role focuses on completing specific tasks and projects as an individual contributor, performing specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however you may collaborate with a team.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate needs and provide effective, service-oriented procurement solutions with a customer-focused mindset.
• Balance competing priorities using strong time management skills to ensure timely order placement and delivery coordination.
• Manage purchasing data, contracts, and inventory processes with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solve problems to achieve efficient, cost-effective solutions across sourcing and supply chain challenges.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Pay

Pay Range: $58,735 per year - $76,010 per year. Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Salary offers are based on specific criteria such as experience, skills, education, and training.
