Responsibilities
- Direct all purchasing activities for workplace products.
- Monitor inventory levels to maximize product availability.
- Analyze purchasing trends, costs, and vendor performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Work closely with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- Manage purchasing and establish best practices for procurement operations.
- Analyze pricing, terms, rebate programs, and vendor agreements.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in a distribution industry.
- Experience with inventory control, forecasting, and purchasing systems.
