About the role
Mountain High Appliance is seeking a purchasing specialist to join their team. This role involves managing purchase orders, tracking inventory, and coordinating with various departments.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage purchase orders across multiple vendors
- Monitor inventory availability and investigate discrepancies
- Track vendor shipments and follow up on delays
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for inventory verification
- Compile and distribute exception reports to sales and scheduling teams
- Ensure accurate inventory allocation and order fulfillment
- Review purchase order pricing and take corrective action if necessary
- Build and maintain vendor relationships through communication
- Manage product categories as skills develop

Qualifications
- Genuine interest in business, logistics, purchasing, or operations

- A degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus
