About the role
The Hollywood Roosevelt is an iconic landmark dating back to Hollywood's Golden Era, located on the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. Since opening in 1927, it has remained a symbol of timeless glamour while offering a modern, luxury lifestyle experience. The hotel is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join its team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory levels
- Cook up product deliveries
- Ensure departments receive supplies on time
- Prepare and process purchase orders through Avendra
- Verify invoices for pricing and accuracy
- Assign general ledger coding by collaborating with department managers and Accounts Payable
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Work closely with vendors to monitor product quality and delivery schedules
- Partner with the Purchasing Manager and Receiving team to resolve late deliveries or supply issues
- Stock and organize storerooms
- Deliver products to departments as needed
- Provide purchasing support across hotel operations
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Enjoy working with numbers and inventory
- Proactive and highly organized
- Able to build strong relationships with vendors and internal departments
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Skills
