Purchasing Associate

Position Overview

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and mastering the details that drive a business forward. It's a fully On-Site role in Edgewood, NY.

Essential Job Functions

• Liaison between vendor representative and sales persons and WindowRama
• Review sales orders and contact sales people if needed to ensure accuracy on order
• Process orders directly with manufacturers, confirm order
• Expedite purchase orders and inform sales force if there is any change to original delivery date

Required Education and Experience

• 1-2 years of administrative experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Administration preferred but not required
• Industry knowledge a plus- building supplies, home improvements, windows
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and achieve results
• Proficiency with computers (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel)
