Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a data-driven Purchasing Analyst to support the procurement of goods and services for leading organizations in higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing. This role reports to the Associate Director of Procurement Operations and is based in Somerville, MA.
About the role
This position will be fully onsite for the first 90 days. After 90 days, the role will follow a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making.
- Assist with spend-analysis, supplier analysis, market research, and sourcing-related projects.
- Support Power BI reporting and ongoing enhancement of procurement dashboards and KPIs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of procurement data, reporting, and dashboards.
- Support Oracle Fusion procurement activities and assist with system-related requests, testing, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Partner with team members on process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support ad hoc procurement projects and business analysis as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Power Query and DAX in Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets, identify trends and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
- Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership of assignments.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Fusion (Procurement module, reporting tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, and data modeling).
- Exposure to procure-to-pay processes, purchasing orders, supplier onboarding, or procurement operations.
- Familiarity with Procurement KPIs, spend analytics, supplier performance, or cost-savings reporting.
- Experience with advanced SQL, including CTEs and window functions.

Pay
Pay Range: $60,000 USD - $80,000 USD
