Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Community Service Manager to ensure the community meets safety, appearance, and operational standards established by the company.
• Respond quickly and courteously to resident requests for maintenance service, troubleshoot the source difficulty, and take appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within the quality and time standards established for the community.
• Work closely with your team to enhance individual performance while providing excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Demonstrate a proactive, organized, team‑player mindset and a passion to exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• 1‑3 years of maintenance experience required (apartment maintenance experience preferred).
• High school education or equivalent certification.
• Preferred expertise in HVAC, carpentry, dry wall, appliances, plumbing, and electrical repair.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Budget or basic business finance skills helpful.
• Refrigeration certification (type 2 or universal) or obtain within the first 90 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license (free from major moving violations) and dependable transportation.
• CPO Certification (if required in the state and location applied).

Requirements

• Use various hand tools and test equipment.
• Bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Push and pull up to 300 pounds on wheels.
• Lift up to 100 pounds.
• Climb ladders of up to 40 feet in height.
• Use a hand‑truck.
