Job Details
- Evaluate, repair, rebuild, and test mechanical vacuum pumps and related industrial devices
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems including motors, sensors, and wiring
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled equipment servicing
- Follow work instructions and document repairs using an ERP system
- Read and interpret part numbers, schematics, and measuring tools
- Operate machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
- Maintain safety standards and comply with company policies
- Safely operate a forklift (certification required or obtainable)
- Participate in continuous improvement through the 6S Program
- Collaborate across departments to support service center operations
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and follow product schematics and election part descriptions
- Intermediate technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to obtain a forklift certification and safely operate the forklift
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications
- Able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, and lift up to 60 lbs unassisted
- Fluent in English (reading and writing)
- Two or more years of technical troubleshooting or repair experience
- Experience with industrial equipment, rotating machinery, pumps, or manufacturing repair environments
