Pump & Power Technician 2
About the role
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump and Power Technician 2 who performs basic diagnostics and equipment repairs in the safest and most effective way possible, with an emphasis on returning equipment to service to avoid downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on Pump & Power equipment
- Read electric schematics and hydraulic flow
- Work with refrigeration (EPA Certified), electrical engines and controllers, dehumidification equipment, compressed air treatment, generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, and shoring
- Understand diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required
- Basic understanding of refrigeration, electrical engines, controllers, dehumidification equipment, compressed air treatment, generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, and shoring
- Ability to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow
- Experience with similar equipment
Physical Demands
- Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching
- Lifting 25 pounds or more
- Working indoors and outdoors as required by the job

Pay
Base pay range: $24.05 - $34.56. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
