Pump Assembly Technician - Tulsa

Responsibilities

• Perform HTC and full system assemblies.
• Read blueprints, use calipers and other measuring instruments, and record dimensions and other details on production logs.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area, including equipment and tooling.
• Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Work with other facility teams (Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering) to address and resolve assembly/test problems quickly.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Utilize safe work habits at all times.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly and testing areas.
• Assist in identifying process improvements and contribute to team-based problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with facility-specific safety protocols and product standards.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as required.
• Ability to solve practical problems and work with limited standardization.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing environment safety practices.
• Understanding of quality assurance concepts, typically acquired through in-house training.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Adaptability and willingness to be cross-trained.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push/pull, and perform repetitive movements for up to 12 hours daily.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, industrial machinery assembly, or a related manufacturing role.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Material handling experience preferred.
