Responsibilities
- Perform HTC and full system assemblies.
- Read blueprints, use calipers and other measuring instruments, and record dimensions and other details on production logs.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, including equipment and tooling.
- Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Work with other facility teams (Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering) to address and resolve assembly/test problems quickly.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Utilize safe work habits at all times.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly and testing areas.
- Assist in identifying process improvements and contribute to team-based problem-solving.
- Ensure compliance with facility-specific safety protocols and product standards.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as required.
- Ability to solve practical problems and work with limited standardization.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing environment safety practices.
- Understanding of quality assurance concepts, typically acquired through in-house training.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to be cross-trained.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push/pull, and perform repetitive movements for up to 12 hours daily.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, industrial machinery assembly, or a related manufacturing role.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
- Material handling experience preferred.
