Pump and Tank Technician

About the role

The Tank Technician at OWL Services will be responsible for completing projects related to above ground and underground petroleum tank systems. This includes UST and AST installs/removals/upgrades, soil remediation, confined space tank cleaning, piping install, and other services surrounding these systems.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains a safe work environment according to all applicable regulations
• Follows standard industry procedures and makes recommendations
• Manages a construction crew efficiently with clear and precise instructions
• Clear communication
• Routinely lifting in excess of 45Ib’s
• Install/Remove/service above ground and underground petroleum tanks
• Work with threaded steel pipe, flex piping and fiberglass piping
• Be familiar with industry material and equipment

Requirements

• Have a clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Work in diverse environments such as confined space, trenches, heights, etc.
• Working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Occasional overnight travel as well as extended work shifts
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
