About the role

Centinela Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join a well-established, physician-led multi-specialty group in Inglewood, California. This opportunity offers a balanced practice with both outpatient pulmonary care and inpatient critical care responsibilities in a collaborative clinical environment. The incoming physician will work alongside an experienced team, providing care across hospital and LTACH settings, with the opportunity to grow within a high-demand Southern California market.

  • 50% outpatient pulmonary / 50% inpatient pulmonary & critical care
  • 1099 independent contractor model
  • Practice across hospital and LTACH settings
  • Established multi-specialty group led by experienced leadership

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient pulmonary care
  • Manage inpatient pulmonary and critical care patients
  • Provide care in hospital and LTACH settings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialists
  • Participate in shared call coverage

Schedule

  • Full-Time: Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient responsibilities
  • Call: Approximately 1 in 2 call schedule (negotiable)

Requirements

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pulmonary & Critical Care
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex cases
  • Interest in a collaborative, multi-specialty practice environment
  • An M.D. or D.O. is required

Pay

  • $360,000 base salary plus $40,000 performance bonus
  • Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance negotiable
  • Malpractice insurance coverage
  • Partnership opportunity in outpatient practice

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $350,000 to $402,585. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
