About the Role
Come join our Respiratory team at Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England! This position performs pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis on adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients utilizing patient cooperation and diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient and ordered diagnostic services to ensure adequate ability of patient to be tested
- Ensure that all quality standards have been performed and are acceptable prior to patient testing
- Prepare reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Perform normal equipment maintenance procedures and maintain laboratory area as a clean and safe environment
- Disinfect and/or sterilize all equipment prior to patient interface
Requirements
- Associate in Science Degree in Respiratory Care
- Two to three years of experience in respiratory care
- Certified Respiratory Technician or Certified Pulmonary Technologist
