About the role
Join a leading healthcare network as a Pulmonary Technologist, providing vital pulmonary and cardiac diagnostic testing in clinical, outpatient, and care unit settings. In this role, you will perform and analyze pulmonary function procedures and non-invasive cardiac tests, serve as a key resource within the Pulmonary Laboratory, implement quality assurance and control programs, train new staff, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and participate in educational, clinical, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with respiratory therapy certification, or associate’s/bachelor’s degree in health sciences or related field
- At least 12 months of experience in a pulmonary function lab
- CPR (BLS) certification
- Credentialing through N.B.R.C. as a respiratory care practitioner or pulmonary function technologist, with ongoing certification maintenance
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in pulmonary and cardiac diagnostics
- Knowledge of quality assurance standards
- Ability to train and troubleshoot effectively
