About the role

The position is a mostly outpatient role at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital (CRMH) in Olney, IL. Services offered include Pulmonary Function Studies and Pulmonary Rehab. The Pulmonary Medicine physician will perform bronchoscopies, Pulmonary Function Test readings, and inpatient consultations. Additional Sleep Medicine training is ideal but not required. No call responsibilities are provided. An after-hours nurse advice line is available for patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform bronchoscopies
• Conduct Pulmonary Function Test readings
• Provide inpatient consultations
• Participate in research and/or academic affiliation with Carle Illinois College of Medicine

Requirements

• BE/BC certification in Pulmonary Medicine
• No call responsibilities
• Additional Sleep Medicine training is ideal but not required

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board certified in Pulmonary Medicine
• Current Illinois Medical License
• Current DEA prescription writing license
