Position Overview
The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and OU Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care physician with fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology.
Responsibilities
- Participation in a high-volume interventional pulmonology service
- Outpatient subspecialty clinics
- Inpatient consultative care
- Clinical responsibilities include working closely with thoracic surgery, oncology, and radiology in a multidisciplinary environment
- Supporting a comprehensive high volume lung nodule and lung cancer program
Academic Responsibilities
- Teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students
- Contributing to the development of an Interventional Pulmonology fellowship program
- Participation in clinical research and program development
Qualifications
- Board-certified/board-eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care physician with fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology
- Expertise in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopic procedures, including rigid bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), pleuroscopy, airway stenting, tumor debulking, and bronchoscopic lung volume reduction (BLVR)
