Physician - Pulmonary

Position Overview

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and OU Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care physician with fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology.

Responsibilities

• Participation in a high-volume interventional pulmonology service
• Outpatient subspecialty clinics
• Inpatient consultative care
• Clinical responsibilities include working closely with thoracic surgery, oncology, and radiology in a multidisciplinary environment
• Supporting a comprehensive high volume lung nodule and lung cancer program

Academic Responsibilities

• Teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students
• Contributing to the development of an Interventional Pulmonology fellowship program
• Participation in clinical research and program development

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care physician with fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology
• Expertise in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopic procedures, including rigid bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), pleuroscopy, airway stenting, tumor debulking, and bronchoscopic lung volume reduction (BLVR)
