Pulmonary Critical Care Physician
About the role
You'll practice big-city medicine with a small-city feel. You will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You will be an integral member of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team caring for complex, critically ill patients.
Responsibilities
- Practicing at St. Mary's Regional Hospital located in Grand Junction, CO
- Working in a 32-bed mixed medical/surgical ICU
- Working a schedule of 24 weeks per year, working 7-day blocks of 12-hour shifts (.8 FTE)
- Working alongside two physicians during the day, and serving as the sole ICU provider overnight
- Performing advanced pulmonary procedures, including advanced bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS)
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- ACGME accredited residency training in Internal Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
Qualifications
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Pay
$465,000.00 annually, plus wRVU production incentives wRVU Compensation Model: wRVU Threshold: 4,990 wRVUs per year; $62.00 per wRVU above threshold Quality Incentive: Up to $50,000 annually
Schedule
Excess/PRN Shift Rate: $2,818 per 12-hour shift Incentives: $30,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 relocation assistance (if applicable), $75,000 Student Loan Assistance (if applicable)
