About the role
Pulmonology and Critical Care (Pulm/CC) Physician needed in beautiful Santa Cruz, CA!
You will join Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican in Santa Cruz, CA. You will provide comprehensive pulmonary and critical care services, blending both outpatient pulmonology and ICU critical care within a mission-driven, physician-led group focused on clinical excellence and community impact.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pulmonary conditions, including COPD, ILD, and sleep disorders
- Provide expert critical care in the ICU setting
- Collaborate closely with specialists in cardiology, oncology, internal medicine, and more
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical education initiatives
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certified in Internal Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary/Critical Care
- Active or eligible license in the state of California
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Required: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Required: Board certified in Internal Medicine
- Required: Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary/Critical Care
- Required: Active or eligible license in the state of California
- Required: Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
