Pulmonary Critical Care Physician

About the role

As a Physician in Pulmonary Critical Care medicine you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You will be an integral member of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team caring for complex, critically ill patients in a 32‑bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Responsibilities

• Practicing at St. George Regional Hospital in St. George, Utah.
• A mix of pulmonary clinic, pulmonary consults, and ICU shifts (1,825 hours annually, 1.0 FTE).
• Working in a 32‑bed adult mixed medical/surgical ICU caring for general surgery, trauma (Level II ASC Trauma Hospital Accreditation), cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and medical patients.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
