Publishing/Graphics Specialist

About the role

We’re looking for a Publishing/Graphics Specialist to take ownership and help drive our publishing and graphics processes forward. This role involves reviewing and prepping artwork, collaborating with customers and production teams, and contributing to special projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and prep artwork quickly and accurately
• Impose and plate artwork for Offset and Digital presses
• Work with customers and distributors to interpret requests and ensure artwork is print-ready
• Collaborate with production and other departments to balance customer expectations with production capabilities
• Contribute to special projects outside your normal day-to-day work
• Attend team meetings and ongoing training sessions
• Be flexible with overtime and occasional Saturday work when needed

Requirements

• Solid experience in publishing, graphics, prepress, or a similar field
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and stay organized in a fast-moving environment
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• A process-minded thinker who looks for smarter ways to work
• Willingness to adapt and take on new challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of publishing/graphics software and prepress workflows

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

Pay

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $28.00. The actual base offered may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
