Responsibilities
- Provide outline content for semi-annual display change-outs
- Research needed artifacts
- Contact retirees for information or materials
- Create and write content for video displays and/or information cards for each displayed item
- Proofread and edit final copy of printed materials
- Find and edit photos to accompany displays
- Collaborate with Visual Communications to create banners, displays, posters, and other visual content
- Prepare artifacts for transport to the academy
- Remove current display items and return them to the office
- Request video copies from the Photo Lab for historical records and for any spotlighted person or family
- Reach out to retirees and other groups to solicit donations of specific artifacts
Requirements
Option 1: 2 years of training or experience in preparing various forms of literature for publication (e.g., newswriting, reporting, editing, photojournalism, graphics of communication).
Option 2: Completion of undergraduate core program in journalism or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Pay
$23.65 per hour
