Responsibilities

• Provide outline content for semi-annual display change-outs
• Research needed artifacts
• Contact retirees for information or materials
• Create and write content for video displays and/or information cards for each displayed item
• Proofread and edit final copy of printed materials
• Find and edit photos to accompany displays
• Collaborate with Visual Communications to create banners, displays, posters, and other visual content
• Prepare artifacts for transport to the academy
• Remove current display items and return them to the office
• Request video copies from the Photo Lab for historical records and for any spotlighted person or family
• Reach out to retirees and other groups to solicit donations of specific artifacts

Requirements

Option 1: 2 years of training or experience in preparing various forms of literature for publication (e.g., newswriting, reporting, editing, photojournalism, graphics of communication).

Option 2: Completion of undergraduate core program in journalism or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Skills

Pay

$23.65 per hour

Schedule

• Full-time
• Work hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
