About the role
The City of Cleveland seeks a Public Works Maintenance Worker to perform various tasks related to maintaining the city's infrastructure including streets, storm sewer systems, water systems, parks, buildings, and other properties.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the City’s streets and storm sewer system
- Maintain the water system
- Maintain parks and buildings
- Maintain other City properties
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a work environment with vehicle and equipment, general maintenance, and mechanical repairs
- Possess an unrestricted Class B CDL license or be able to obtain within six months
Qualifications
- Desirable: Possess an unrestricted Class B CDL license or be able to obtain within six months
Skills
- Knowledge of vehicle and equipment operation
- General maintenance skills
- Mechanical repair skills
