Construction Project Engineer - Cleveland

About the role

The Project Engineer (PE) is an entry-level position designed to expose candidates to various career paths within the firm through rotations in operations, safety, project controls, estimating, and business development.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates an understanding of Higley Construction's values and ethics.
• Reads and understands construction drawings and industry terminology.
• Manages RFI’s, submittals, drawing coordination, and writing meeting minutes and project correspondence.
• Maintains a safe and secure job site.
• Aids the Project Manager with change management.
• Aids the Superintendent with field coordination and subcontractor management.
• Provides exceptional customer service to colleagues and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or relevant experience.
• 1-2 years in engineering, construction management, or a related field is beneficial.
• Engineering certifications, such as EIT, are preferred.
• Completed co-op work rotations or similar experience is advantageous.
