Opportunity
The Opportunity with McKinstry McKinstry is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join their Essention DER team in Seattle. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support the RFP and procurement process
- Track current and future jobs, review contracts, drawings, and specifications
- Affiliate with scheduling, assist in developing the scope of work with subcontractors, and prepare monthly financial reports
- Create and respond to requests for information (RFI)
- Develop, process, and track equipment, material, and informational submittals, as well as process change orders, create billing breakdowns, and conduct estimates
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, ViewPoint, and Accubid
Qualifications
- Knowledge of construction concepts preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimates preferred

Pay and Schedule
The pay range for this position is $29.55 - $48.89 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
Schedule
This role is a full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate project needs.
