About the role

The City of Paynesville seeks applicants to perform skilled and general maintenance work activities involving the operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of municipal infrastructure and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, inspect, and repair municipal infrastructure and equipment
• Perform maintenance, repair, and construction tasks
• Operate motorized equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year experience in general, skilled labor performing maintenance, repair, and construction
• 1 year experience in operating motorized equipment
• 2 or more years’ experience desired
• Valid Minnesota Class D Driver’s License or equivalent out-of-state license
• Able to obtain a Minnesota Class B Commercial Driver’s License within 6 months from the date of hire
