Public Space Attendant $17.50 per hour ($500 SIGN-ON BONUS-see details in the description)

Overview

Earn a $500 Sign-on Bonus! New Hire or Re-hire (must not have worked for Boyne Mountain within the past 6 months) will receive $250 after completing 30 days of employment, and the 2nd payment of $250 after 90 days of employment.

The Public Space Attendant is responsible for ensuring clean, orderly, and attractive public space areas throughout the resort. As a Boyne Mountain team member, enjoy perks like ski passes, golf passes, waterpark passes, and discounts on food, beverages, retail, daycare, and more!

Responsibilities

• Obtaining a list of areas needing immediate cleaning and prospective spaces to monitor for work assignments
• Examining rooms, halls, and lobbies, and reporting maintenance concerns to the supervisor
• Changing and replenishing linens and amenities in public space areas
• Replacing and/or cleaning soiled items
• Disinfecting and sterilizing bathroom areas
• Sweeping, vacuuming, and polishing floors; cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
• Dusting furniture and equipment; washing walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Emptying wastebaskets and replacing liners
• Cleaning outdoor patio areas and furniture
• Ensuring completion of cleaning checklists and inspecting work to meet cleanliness standards
• Taking inventory of supplies and restocking carts and storage closets
• Keeping utility and storage rooms clean and organized
• Responding to guest requests for supplies or information
• Keeping the supervisor informed of significant problems or unusual matters
• Maintaining a clean, well-organized work area
• Assisting other room attendants when necessary
• Completing section reports on time and updating status according to cleaned areas
• Completing special tasks assigned by management

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old
• Available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
