As a Public Service Representative with Language (Bargaining Unit, Local 25), you will be the face of the airport, driving customer-centric initiatives. You will excel in communication, embrace diversity, resolve inquiries and complaints, and ensure passenger satisfaction while adapting to changing situations. Your role contributes to creating a positive and welcoming environment for travelers.

Responsibilities

  • Staff information booths, providing ground transportation options, accommodations, and event assistance to passengers.
  • Serve as an Airport Ambassador, ensuring passenger flow and public safety at key points.
  • Promote Boston and New England by explaining tourist attractions, hospitality services, and Logan Modernization initiatives.
  • Operate display systems to provide relevant airline and airport information, manage paging and lost-and-found services, and assist with ADA inquiries.
  • Handle emergencies, follow protocols, and actively contribute to enhancing the airport experience for passengers.

Requirements

  • High School diploma preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate in standard English.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience interacting with the general public in retail, hospitality, travel, or transportation industry.
  • Bilingual capabilities; must pass verbal foreign language tests.
  • Ability to obtain a Massport Security Badge and U.S. Customs Seal.
