Public Safety Officer - MRMC - Per Diem, all shifts
Major Responsibilities
Participates in the Hospital emergency room programs.
Ability to effectively deal with a wide range of public safety issues handling a multitude of variables in changing situations.
Ability to interpret and understand written and oral instructions.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions that may be furnished by way of written document, oral command or diagram.
Ability to cooperate with law enforcement agencies consistent with the Hospital’s legal obligation to protect the rights and privileges of its patients in accordance with Federal and State Laws.
Position Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Obtain and satisfactorily complete the initial 8 hour Hospital Orientation Program and Annual Competency Reviews and any other training as may be occasionally mandated.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior within 30 days of hire required.
Experience/Skills Required
- 1 year related experience and/or training in public safety.

- Valid Driver's License required.
- Successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior within 30 days of hire required.
