About the role
Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercy’s coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy’s Mission, Values, and Service Standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid state driver’s license
- Valid local, state, or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- Complete Basic 16-hour Public Safety/Security course within 180 days of hire (may be done as part of licensure)
- Ability to read and write English
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience
