Public Safety Dispatcher position with the Natick Police Department.
About the role
Full-time role responsible for receiving emergency and non-emergency phone calls and dispatching appropriate responses for Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services. Additional duties include clerical tasks, support services, and other related responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Receive emergency and non-emergency phone calls
- Dispatch appropriate responses for Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services
- Perform clerical tasks and support services
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and oral
- Basic computer proficiency and strong typing skills
- Ability to work under stressful conditions
Experience is preferred, but new applicants will be considered.
Schedule
- Midnight – 8:00 AM
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 4:00 PM – Midnight
Pay
Starting pay is $27.7269 per hour at Step 0. The full pay range is $27.7269 - $35.2538 per hour, with step increases outlined in the union agreement.
