Public Relations/Development Intern

About the Role

This internship involves supporting the C+FS Public Relations and Development team on various PR projects.

Responsibilities

• Writing:
  • Press Releases
  • Media Advisories
  • Articles for C+FS website
  • Articles for C+FS Intranet
• Graphic Design:
  • Flyers
  • Banners
  • Brochures
• Social Media Communications:
  • Internal and external messaging
  • Pitching story ideas for the media
• Development:
  • Assist Development Team with donor prospecting
  • Utilize Fundraising Software, Raiser's Edge, to help manage donor portfolios
  • Help accept donations in support of the Development team receiving in-kind gifts to facilitate building donor relationships
  • Assist the Development team with event organization, meeting preparation, and donation drives as needed

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing
• Enrollment in a credit-bearing program

Schedule

Flexible scheduling but must be able to work at the office location during work hours. This is an unpaid internship for college credit.
