Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of signature events and sponsorship programs such as Donor Dash, Transplant Candidate program, and Team Philadelphia at the U.S. Transplant Games
  • Aid in the implementation of school education programs, including the College Challenge, License to Save Lives virtual program, and Philadelphia high school grant programs
  • Support organizing educational programming and grants to promote donation awareness and donor registration with high schools, community, faith and other organizations
  • Collaborate with staff in outreach to volunteers and external partners
  • Support maintaining and researching databases, community lists, etc.

Qualifications

  • College student majoring in public health, communications, public relations, or related field
  • Professional writing and interpersonal communications skills
  • Experience working in a professional office environment
  • The ability to travel and work throughout the Gift of Life service area for special events
  • Microsoft Office competencies including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to bend, twist, lift and climb to set up a variety of displays, lift materials weighing 30 pounds and stand/sit for long periods of time
