Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of signature events and sponsorship programs such as Donor Dash, Transplant Candidate program, and Team Philadelphia at the U.S. Transplant Games
- Aid in the implementation of school education programs, including the College Challenge, License to Save Lives virtual program, and Philadelphia high school grant programs
- Support organizing educational programming and grants to promote donation awareness and donor registration with high schools, community, faith and other organizations
- Collaborate with staff in outreach to volunteers and external partners
- Support maintaining and researching databases, community lists, etc.
Qualifications
- College student majoring in public health, communications, public relations, or related field
- Professional writing and interpersonal communications skills
- Experience working in a professional office environment
- The ability to travel and work throughout the Gift of Life service area for special events
- Microsoft Office competencies including Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be able to bend, twist, lift and climb to set up a variety of displays, lift materials weighing 30 pounds and stand/sit for long periods of time
