DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports the Bureau of Medical Marijuana by overseeing compliance activities, guiding field staff, and helping ensure that permitted facilities meet program standards. The role involves coordinating key processes, reviewing program materials, and supporting field operations across the central region.

  • Program Oversight: Manage tracking, logging, and completion of compliance activities for communications, renewals, and application reviews
  • Guideline Development: Create interpretative guidance, forms, and protocols to support field compliance work
  • Compliance Review: Evaluate inspection findings, investigations, complaints, and inquiries to recommend outcomes
  • Training Support: Develop training materials, assess educational needs, and support field staff learning opportunities
  • System Coordination: Lead efforts to establish training on the seed to sale system and maintain program relationships
  • Field Supervision: Oversee field staff activities, observe inspections, and conduct annual audit reviews

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or a bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. Must be able to perform essential job functions.
