Position Summary

Responsible for guiding students to improve their academic performance through extended lessons, creative teaching, and interactive materials. The tutor will work one-on-one or with small groups of students.

Education And Experience

• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have knowledge of or willingness to understand local, state, and federal curriculum requirements for student grade level.
• Must have an understanding of subject matter relevant to students’ needs.
• Must have strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and tutoring programs.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy.
• Must pass a thorough background check including Criminal History and fingerprint check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring students in 6th -12 grades.
• Average of 2 years of full-time college coursework.
• A Bachelor’s Degree.

Pay

Grade N13; pay is $30.00/hour.
