Closing Date Position closes at 5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time on 11/2/2026. Position Summary This is a professional teaching position with the Southern Ute Education Center. A teacher in this position teaches/tutors Southern Ute and/or Johnson O’Malley Program students in the High School during and after school throughout the school year. The teacher also designs and implements summer enrichment programs, performing student instruction and supervision, managing the programs and reviewing their success. This position is based on a regular work year (261 days). This position is a grade E14; pay is $68,004.00/annually. Education And Experience Must have a BA/BS degree. Must have a current Teaching License or the ability to obtain a Colorado Teaching License within one year of hire. Must have experience using database programs to analyze student performance scores, electronic gradebooks, and proficiency in use of email systems and digital file management. Must be able to work varied hours to meet student educational needs. Must have a valid Driver’s License for state of residency and insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy. Must pass a thorough background check including Criminal History and fingerprint check. Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
