Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the lobby and common guest areas.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to guests.
  • Maintain parking lot and public space cleanliness.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and quarterly cleaning checklists.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, thresholds, baseboards, railings, elevators, stairwells, and window frames.
  • Vacuum and spot clean carpeting, upholstery, and drapery.
  • Remove gum and other debris from surfaces.
  • Clean and shine all glass and metal surfaces.
  • Empty trash receptacles, replace trash bags, and remove trash to dumpsters.
  • Clean offices as assigned.
  • Clean and stock public restrooms with supplies.
  • Clean public and service elevators (inside and out).
  • Complete restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed.
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance with a cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Notify housekeeping leadership, maintenance, or MOD of malfunctioning equipment, needed supplies, or damage to floor coverings or upholstery.
  • Attend all departmental meetings to enhance communication and product knowledge.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and comments in person and by phone with timely, knowledgeable information.
  • Follow all safety guidelines to ensure the protection of self, associates, and guests.

Requirements

  • No formal education required.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Ability to meet standard appearance and cleaning standards.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning methods, implements, and chemicals.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently lift cleaning supplies up to 30 lbs.
  • Frequently push and pull equipment weighing 30-50 lbs.
  • Frequently carry supplies up to 30 lbs.
  • Frequently bend to start machines and load chemicals.
  • Must be able to stand and walk behind floor care equipment for the full shift.
  • Continuous standing may be required.
  • No driving required.

Pay

USD $17.00 per hour.
