Responsibilities

  • Carry out investigations on behalf of attorneys and clients.
  • Locate and interview clients, witnesses, and prospective witnesses.
  • Conduct background searches.
  • Serve subpoenas.
  • Prepare exhibits and testify in court.
  • Search for, preserve, and transmit physical evidence.
  • Obtain and review documents.
  • Write reports and memorandums.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop the defense strategy.

Requirements

  • High school graduate.
  • Two years of experience in law enforcement, general investigation, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license required prior to employment.
  • Maintain any required licenses, certifications, or credentials for the duration of employment.

Benefits

Probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.

Pay

$39,284.88 - $58,927.20 Annually

Schedule

18A | 37.5 HR/WK
