PTA-REHAB AIDE
Essential Responsibilities
- Assisting the outpatient department by performing clerical and housekeeping duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist and/or Speech Language Pathologist.
- Performing the duties of a licensed PTA as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist with competence in skills and professionalism treating a variety of ages including pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric clients.
- Actively participating in the growth and development of their Department/Clinic, including quality management.
Qualifications
- Mets qualifications for Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- The PTA/Rehab Aide is a PTA and must be licensed in their state of hire and eligible for licensure in alternate state (licensed to be obtained within 3 months of hire).
- Trained and certified biennially in BLS Healthcare Provider Level CPR.
- The PTA/Rehab Aide is required to work a minimum of two evenings per week unless approved by a Senior OP Director.
