PTA-Physical Therapy Assistant

About the Role

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct therapy services in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral and under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Center at Park West standards.

You will work with a dynamic therapy team providing sub-acute inpatient therapy to individuals with medical conditions including orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Physical Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Assist patients in achieving their mobility and functional goals.
• Document treatments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide encouragement and support to patients and their families.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) therapy program – New grads welcome!
• Current state licensure.
• CPR Certification.
