Physical Therapy Assistant - PTA

• Conducting weekly in-home therapy visits lasting 1-2 hours.
• Delivering physical therapy services and education per the physician’s plan of care.
• Documenting services, observations, progress, and recommendations promptly.
• Reporting changes or concerns to supervising therapists or nursing staff.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team activities and client care conferences.
• Promoting safety, infection control, and confidentiality in all tasks.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and agency quality improvement activities.
• Adhering to all policies, standards, and regulations, including privacy and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Current license, registration, or certification as a PT Assistant, with eligibility to take the exam if needed.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• At least six months of PTA experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and insurance coverage.
