Join our team as a Physical Therapy Assistant, providing in-home care to clients with chronic and terminal illnesses resulting from their previous work environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct weekly in-home visits, typically lasting 1-2 hours, following physician’s Plan of Care and therapy goals.Deliver physical therapy services, education, and training to clients in their homes.Complete documentation of services, observations, and client progress within designated timeframes.Report changes, concerns, or schedule adjustments promptly to supervising therapists or nursing staff.Participate in interdisciplinary activities, client care conferences, and staff meetings.Promote referrals to other disciplines and engage in quality improvement initiatives.Maintain safety protocols, infection control, and confidentiality standards to ensure a secure environment for clients and staff.Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and professional standards, including privacy regulations.Pursue ongoing professional development and assume additional duties as needed. Qualifications Current license, registration, or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant, or eligibility to take the exam.Graduate of an accredited PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.At least six months of PTA experience.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and insurance coverage. Compensation: $38/hr., plus shift differentials where applicable.
