PTA- Physical Therapist Assistant
About the role
As an Enhance Rehabilitation physical therapist assistant, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to assist in treating patients. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs, assisting with all phases of treatment, communicating with patients and recording their conditions and responses, and providing continuous updates to the physical therapist, director, or rehab manager and facility staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist in treating patients following an individualized plan of care developed by physical therapists.
- Achieve excellent functional outcomes for every patient through quality treatment.
- Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's specific needs.
- Assist patients throughout all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
- Discuss treatment plans with patients and document their conditions and responses in patient charts after each session.
- Communicate continuously with physical therapists, directors, or rehab managers, and facility staff regarding patient progress and any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.
- Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for physical therapy. You must possess a current license as a physical therapist assistant in the state where you will be working. Additionally, you should have a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy or a related field, and preferably some experience in a clinical setting.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
