PTA-Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

As an Enhance Rehabilitation Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist as part of a growing team. You will assist in treating patients by following individualized plans of care developed by Physical Therapists to ensure excellent functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient’s particular needs, with assistance from the physical therapist.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with the Physical Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
