About the role

As a Home Health Aide at Amedisys, you will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, medication management, and monitor patient health.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Help patients with meal preparation and nutrition
• Monitor and report changes in patient health
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Provide companionship and emotional support

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass a background check
• Ability to work flexible hours

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform tasks in various home settings
