Responsibilities

• Support clients with activities of daily living
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Bath, groom, toileting, nail care, range of motion/exercises, transfers/mechanical lifting devices
• Assist with oral feeding, vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration)
• Manage home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, bed making
• Ambulate patients, assist with medication administration

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience
• Listed on the STATE Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing
• Demonstrate reading, writing, and effective communication skills in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Meet all state requirements
